It’s been a whirlwind of activity here on the Starter Kit! The most exciting piece to share is the Zweihander Starter Kit layout files to post to the printer today! That means we are on schedule. As we get closer to delivery, we will update you on details around the fulfillment of your orders.

Also, because we are committed to ensuring that each and every backer gets something special, we have made the decision to upgrade the poster map of Samuel Araya’s cover art and master cartographer Kyle Latino’s folding map inside the Standard and BLACK BOX print editions to 3’x2’! These upgrades come at zero additional cost.

Thanks to you, the Standard and BLACK BOX print editions include the free bonus 100-page Player’s Guide. Whenever our Retail edition hits stores, it will not include this bonus book.

Over the weekend, some of you got your surveys. We’ve validated everything is set up as expected and released the remainder of the surveys to you all. We anticipate locking down surveys in 30 days, so please get everything updated. Blackbirds Grimoire Edition

In a bit of unexpected but exciting news, we have a small overrun of the oversized leather-like book edition of Blackbirds! Appropriately named the Grimoire Edition (around 9.25"x13"), this five-pound book comes in black skivertex, foil touches, tasteful debossing and embossing around the logos, multiple ribbons, and foil page edges. This is NOT the Servant of the Gods boxed set (and is only the book), and we have priced it as inexpensively as we can for Kickstarter backers.

After two incredible weeks, our Zweihander RPG Starter Kit campaign is complete! Thanks to you everyone and your support, we were able to go out with a bang. With over 1,460 backers, we are humbled by the number of people who showed up, shared the campaign with their friends, and supported our project. We’re happy that you’re all as excited about the Starter Kit as we are.

Free Dice Tower

First up, every ZWEIHÄNDER Superfan is going to get a free upgrade to their screen – a Dice Tower!

Dog Might Screen Add-On

Speaking of exciting content - if you’re a seasoned player, you know the value of a great GM screen, so why not get your hands on one that’s also a piece of art? We have just the thing: a luxury wooden screen from the artisans at Dog Might Games. We’re opening up an Add-on for all backers to get a similar screen and dice tower. Here's a closer look at the screen:

This screen comes handcrafted, with each piece uniquely crafted just for you. Each Curley Maple panel is made from solid, kiln-dried hardwood and has a hand-inlaid black enamel finish with a gold enameled finish. Each of the four panels measures roughly 12" x 9", large enough to hold a full piece of paper, and oriented in landscape format to allow easy access to your players and table. Each panel is richly detailed with unique elements, with an etched, woodblock-like illustration by Dejan Mandic. Hand polished with gold and black enamel, this Dog Might Screen is exclusive only to this Kickstarter.

Another day, another Stretch Goal down! The Starter Kit boxes are bursting at the seams with all-new, horror-filled content, all thanks to you:

Divine Retribution

Whenever you are one of the Chosen (or someone with the Divine Magick Special Trait), you can attempt to Channel Power to increase your chances to successfully cast spells. However, you must roll one to three Chaos Dice as you make your Skill Test. If any of those dice land on a face “6”, you have angered your god. Although the spell may still function, you will incur their wrath. Here’s a sneak peek at a few:
